I am running behind this month for no reason at all. I hope that you have been having a good time in your shops.

This month we will be having a demonstration by James McClure this will be a warm up for James to get up to speed for an up and coming symposium in Colorado. He will be showing the club how to make various cuts using a bowl gouge. This will be a refresher for all of us. You can never know it all so come and get up to speed with your gouge techniques.

Remember in September we will have Al Stirt for a two-day demo Saturday and Sunday the 18th and 19th and a hands on workshop Monday the 20th. If you would like to participate please contact Bill Hoff to reserve a spot in the workshop. There is a charge for this demo so make sure to see Bill if you want to reserve a spot for yourself. The cost is $20 or $25 check with Bill.

The October meeting will be a one-day demonstration by Pat Matranga from Nashville, It will be free to all paid up members of our club.

Bring your Show & Tell items to our meeting, this is one of the highlights that we all look forward to seeing. We will have our auction if you have wood you want to donate bring it with you, but remember it must be good sound wood.

Some of you may not know that our club is involved in preparing an entry  for the AAW 25th year Symposium Exhibit. If you want more info on this we will be discussing it at this meeting. We will select our entry at our December meeting so you still have time to participate.

We will be having Show and Tell this month so do yourself proud bring a turning. See you there.
