I hope your shop is heated so your not shut down till spring. Hope your able to turn some, I hear that turning is a cure for cabin fever.

Our meeting should be very interesting this month; Jim Burt will have the program for you. He will be showing you how to make a vacuum system from a kit. A venture tube powers the system.  Russ Revels will show you how to adapt it to your lathe. The author of the book on How to make a CNC router has been asked to join us at the meeting. The meeting should be loaded with information.

The steering committee will be having a meeting at Fred Bonds home and your invited to attend. The sunshine law applies; we do not have secret meetings. His address is 4305 D’Evereux Drive at 6:30 p.m. Jan 12th. We will be discussing the club liability and how AAW protects us; then a discussion on the visit of Michael Hosaluk and the cost per person and how many will be able to attend.

The club will have the Safety Minute, because safety never takes a break, we only have lapsed carelessness.

Don’t forget the challenge for this month is a finial or spindle no longer than 12” long and no larger than 3” in diameter. See you there.

I had a Power Point presentation to show you, but the web site will not support the format of the presentation. Stand by for now.

I just added the photos in alphabetical order without the Power Point.
