The wood is on it's way to Pensacola!  At the meeting the a majority of those that order wood were present  so we set the date of the pickup for Sunday September 22nd at 2:00PM at the Club.   The lot tickets will be draw promptly at 2:00PM so don't be late. Anyone that is not present please try to find someone that can pick out you wood in your absence.  Any lot that does not have a proxy assigned will have one assigned at the time of the drawing,  so please try to attend.   I have redone the math below, please check my math and let me know if I have any problems.   Two of my volunteers have other obligations on Saturday so if anyone has a truck/trailer that can handle the 3700lbs please contact me and I will also see if I can find someone from work to move it to the club.

Hank Called me with some bad news, it looks like he was wrong on how much wood he has left.  He only has 600bf of the quality shown (grade A) and 140bf of some that is smaller pieces and more checking a cracking (grade B).  I thought about it  made the decision for him to send me all he had and we will split it equally among those who ordered.  I have done the math below and calculated the amount of  wood and refund each member.  Both Hank and I are sorry about the confusion and hope this doesn't cause any problems.  If anyone would like to request a full refund just let me know.

I talked to Hank at Veneer Online and he is ready and willing to take our order.  I will need to mail him a check before the order is placed.  The shipping quote is good until the August 18th.  Please check to make sure that you order is listed below and that you agree with everything else.  I am glad to see that we will be able to work this out for the club.  Please let me know if there is anything I am forgetting or you think would help.  I would also like to extend special thanks to Leland Leonard for letting us all know about this great deal.

Refund

Latest News:  I deposited all the money Thursday and the bank said the checks should be all clear by Monday.

Please email dehaggard@yahoo.com if you would like to order some wood or call me at home 479-8958 or cell at 516-8950.

A "Board Foot" size/weight will be determined when the wood is delivered subtracting waste or shortages

Wood will be separated at the discretion of the Purchasing Committee

A 10% Club Premium will be collected for expenses/shortages. All excess funds will be deposited into the General Club Fund.  Think this is too much, not enough, let me know?

All payments will be required before wood is ordered.
Must be a active member to purchase wood.

Possible Method of Division
The wood will be divided into an equal number of bundles.  When the wood is split up each member will draw tickets for the number of bundles the that member is entitled to.  The ticket number will determine the order that they pick their bundles.

Example:
3000 dollars worth of wood is purchased.  The minimum purchase is $100.  The wood will be divided into 30 "equal" bundles.  James buys $200 worth of wood, Danny buys a $100 and Jim buys $600.   James gets 2 tickets, Danny gets 1 and Jim gets 6.  The numbers on their tickets determines the order of that they pick their bundles.

Sound Fair? Let me know what you think.

I need 1 or 2 volunteers to help with the division of the wood, collection of the money, transportation from delivery point (my work) to where we will split it. (The Club?)
