As you may be aware, the last opportunity for a Chapter or individual to apply for an AAW grant, is July 15th, 2005. After this date the Chapter and Individual applications will be held annually every January 15th. instead of twice per year for applications. Please take the time to remind your club members that this is the case. Also please visit our website http://www.woodturner.org/resources/eog/ to download a newly revised copy of the Grant Application as well as the new Helpful Hints page. Individuals that have not received an AAW grant during the previous 5 years are eligible to apply now. Chapters that have not received an AAW grant during the previous 12 months are eligible to apply now. Finally, please be sure to have your application in the mail on or before the 15th of July as applications with a postmark after July 15th are disqualified for that grant period. You can, by your request, have a late application reviewed during the next grant application period. Good luck to all that apply,
The AAW finds itself in need of a good digital camera. This camera will be used to take high quality photos of exhibition and collection pieces. Please poll your membership for anyone willing to do something for the common good of the AAW as well as take a tax deduction for the donation.
